Despite the postponement of courses we haven’t been idle, and a small staff team has been designing and preparing a 6 week programme in which patients can participate from home.

There will be a different project each week, with a box of mystery materials being posted out at the start. We are endeavouring to preserve as many of the elements of the residential course as possible, such as the mystery and surprise, and a range of different challenges. These challenges will be introduced by the Odyssey staff running the programme during a weekly Zoom call, where that week’s project is revealed. We aim to achieve many of the same outcomes as on the residential courses. 

We have a pilot programme due to start in June, and we expect to continue offering the Home Programme to run alongside our residential courses, so that those that either can’t join a residential course, or would prefer not to, can still benefit from an Odyssey experience.
